Irondale Cafe, Red Cat, Green Acres, Mr. P’s Deli + more earned 95+ food service scores in July

Several Jefferson County restaurants—including Green Acres in Ensley, Mr. P’s Deli, Moss Rock Tacos + Tequila, Irondale Cafe and more—received 95 and above on their food service scores this past July.

Since 2018, Bham Now has reported the monthly Jefferson County Department of Health restaurant food service scores. Each month, an average of 100+ local establishments that handle and serve food are inspected by the Health Department. They include:

  • Restaurants
  • Schools
  • Nursing homes
  • Daycare centers
  • Hospitals
  • Grocery stores
  • Concession stands

We report each month on local restaurants.
