On July 31, The Rotary Club of Birmingham announced its new Executive Director.
Lora Terry Blalock, Birmingham native and avid civic servant, will step into the role on August 15. Here’s what we know about Blalock and this position.
Blalock steps in as Rotary Club of Birmingham’s Executive Director
According to a press release from the Rotary Club of Birmingham, Blalock has spent her career working in the nonprofit sector.

- On staff at the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham since 2011 + Senior Vice President, Philanthropy and Strategy
- Past President of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham

- Member of the vestry at St. Mary’s on-the-Highlands Episcopal Church
- Graduate of Leadership Birmingham + Alabama Leadership Initiative
