USA Today’s 2024 3rd Best Fast Food Fried Chicken chain in the U.S  is coming to Vestavia Hills.

Coming to Vestavia Hills end of 2024

According to the Vestavia Voice, Guthrie’s, the popular Alabama-based chicken joint, is building a new restaurant at the site of the former Hardee’s near Vestavia Bowl at 1437 Montgomery Highway.

Touted as the original chicken finger restaurant, Guthrie’s hopes to open the Vestavia location by the end of 2024.

Last year, Waldo’s Chicken & Beer and Big Bad Breakfast received incentives from the city to build new restaurants on Highway 31.
