What’s Bindeybook?

From creation to final results (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now

Bindeybook is a fun way to show off your creativity by creating a customized hard-bound book.

You can order a physical or digital kit and make a book featuring your own artwork, special photos and more.

Since I wanted to create a scrapbook-style book to document my family’s summer staycation in Birmingham, I opted for Bindeybook Digital.

This version allows you to download templates right to your computer. You can include text, cool fonts, photos and so much more.

Wondering what we did during our summer staycation in Birmingham?

We did so much as a family this summer, and Birmingham was the perfect place to make memories we’ll never forget.

A few of our favorite activities, included:

  • Checking out the incredible animals at The Birmingham Zoo.
  • Discovering some Birmingham history at Sloss Furnaces
  • Enjoying the beauty at Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
  • Fishing + boating on Lake Purdy.
  • Tasting all the delicious ice cream flavors at Bendy’s Cookies & Cream.
    • Winning flavor—strawberry buttermilk

Creating your Bindeybook

Have you tried Bindeybook? (Jacob Blankenship / Bham Now)

I love crafting. Put a paintbrush or a bottle of glitter in my hands and I come alive.

But Bindeybook Digital kept me just as entertained. Not only did it let me relive my favorite summer moments, but it also allowed me to don my graphic designer hat.

Here are some of my personal tips you may find useful when making your book:

  • Designate 1-2 pages for each activity you want to highlight.
  • Upload 3-5 photos per page.
  • Use different fonts, text colors + more.
