The annual Feeding Families Across America Food Drive is part of AmFirst’s many efforts to give back to local communities in need.
It’s happening now, and you can give food or monetary donations through the end of July. Take a look at ways you can give back.
Feeding Families Across America
America’s First Federal Credit Union (AmFirst) is partnering with Sinclair ABC 33/40 and the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama for its annual food drive.
According to ABC 33/40, the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama works with 230 agency partners in 12 counties—all providing food, items and more to local communities.
All proceeds from the Feeding Families Across America Food Drive will go to the Central Alabama food bank, continuing to further their mission and creating healthier, thriving cities in Alabama.
What you can donate
Between now and the end of the month, you can give back to
Most needed foods:
- Brown rice
- Canned chicken
- Canned fruit
- Cereal, oatmeal + grits
- Canned tuna in water
- Canned vegetables
- Dried or canned beans
- Macaroni + cheese
- Pasta + pasta sauce
- Peanut butter + jelly
You can drop off your donations at any AmFirst location across Alabama.
