The Trussville Design Review Committee announced exciting new updates to many properties—one being a brand-new speakeasy to the Asian-fusion restaurant, Umami.

Serving Trussville since January 2024
In January, we let you in on the Asian-style restaurant, Umami, coming to Trussville.
Owner Agus Suyasa saw an opportunity to offer a different take on the regular barbeque and fried foods offered virtually everywhere.
Umami has been blowing customers away with their ramen and sushi bars ever since.
Here’s a peek at the menu:
- Ahi Tuna & Brussel Sprouts
- Beef Bulgogi
- Chicken Ramen
- Seafood Ceviche
Umami Trussville is getting a speakeasy
Now, Umami is getting a new neighbor upstairs—a low-key speakeasy that will bring aesthetic vibes to a busy city.
The new bar will be attached to Umami. Plans to enclose the patio area have been discussed by the Trussville Design Review Committee.
