If you’re a die-hard fan of Guy’s Grocery Games, chances are you saw Birmingham’s Chef Lindsey competing on the show.

Since then, Lindsey has successfully co-founded Croux in 2022, a platform built for temporary staffing and hospitality. With this new business came new opportunities to further her love of creating delicious food.

Her love for food started at a very young age watching her grandma make a number of delicious Italian cuisines.

“Every Sunday, we would all go and eat spaghetti and spend all day Saturday making meatballs. I was just always so fascinated by what they were doing in the kitchen because there was always so much action. So it was always kind of fun to spend some time in the kitchen with them and see what they were up to.”

Now, Chef Lindsey is excited to team up with Feast CEO and Founder Brett Ables and bring her culinary talents to a new audience.

A driving force for local businesses

Originally opened in 2020, Feast helped struggling businesses reach more venues with his company.

Brett Ables saw the opportunity to help local businesses sustain more catering, so he focused his efforts on the Birmingham community.

A few months later, Brett found himself with various partners and a large customer base.

“What led to starting this kitchen is seeing a demand from the customers looking for catering items that you’re not always able to get at restaurants. We felt the need to start the culinary kitchen so that we could pretty much meet a wide variety of mainstream customers.”

When it came down to Brett choosing a chef to help cook mouthwatering meals at their in-store catering service, he had only one chef in mind.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with a chef of her caliber. We wanted to identify the chef who fit the vision and Lindsey most definetly fits that vision.”
