June marks the month-long celebration of Pride Month and we’ve gathered some of the top events happening in The Magic City. Get ready for exciting parades, drag parties and some awesome local benefits.
1. 45th annual Central Alabama Pride Parade | June 8
- What: Celebrating its 45th anniversary in Birmingham is a fan-favorite event—the Central Alabama Pride Parade. Starting at 8PM, this Mardi Gras-style parade will begin cruising down 7th Avenue S.

2. LGBTQ+ Youth Prom | June 14
- What: Calling all LGBTQ youth + allies—Magic City Acceptance Center is hosting an extra-special prom party. Featuring music, food, crafts and more, this year’s theme is glitter and all things sparkly.

3. Loud & Proud Pride After Party | June 8
- What: Continue the pride festivities with a star-studded after party at Saturn. Featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race all-star Roxxxy Andrews and several local drag queens, this will be a night to remember.

4. Pride Glow Bowling | June 6
- What: Ready, set, glow! Come out to Bowlero on Highway 280 for a night of fun-filled cosmic bowling. Admission includes unlimited bowling and complimentary shoe rental.

5. Pride Milk & Honey | June 7
- What: Celebrate pride in style with Milk & Honey, Alabama’s biggest inclusive party for all gender identities, sexual preferences and orientations. Benefitting Central Alabama Pride, this Friday night dance party will feature DJ Stevo Blaque, David X Daisy + more.

6. Pride Drag Brunch | June 8
- What: Don’t miss this year’s biggest drag brunch featuring Axel Andrews and RuPaul’s Drag Race all-star Shannel. Pour up the mimosas and get ready for a good time.

7. 45th annual PRIDEFEST | June 9
- What: Come out to Linn Park on Sunday, June 9 for a pride celebration. With food trucks, youth activities and entertainment galore, this event will be fun for the whole family. Don’t miss special musical guests Adina Howard and Robin S.

8. Empower Latinex with Love | June 13
- What: Celebrate Pride Month with the first Latinx-led pride celebration in Birmingham. Enjoy food, music + live performances benefitting AIDS Alabama.

9. Finding My Rainbow Launch Party | June 12
- What: Celebrating the release of Finding My Rainbow from author Josh Coleman, a children’s book about acceptance and pride, this launch party will take place at the Magic City Acceptance Center on Wednesday, June 12.
