Summer is just around the corner and you’re going to want to fit these great pools in your plans.

Keep reading to find out some great places to swim and relax in Birmingham—opening just in time for Memorial Day weekend!

1. Vestavia Hills Aquatic Complex

Vestavia Hills has a great complex filled with various activities the kids will enjoy. They offer slides, competition and leisure pools and more.

2. Crestwood Swimming Pool

Looking to bring your family to a great atmosphere? Check out the Crestwood Swimming Pool for a large, clean pool with an area for the kids.

3. Lakeshore Foundation

Need to refresh your swimming skills? Lakeshore Foundation has you covered. They offer swimming instruction, warm pools, adult and youth classes.

4. Homewood Swimming Pool

Homewood is the perfect place to do some swimming, grab a bite to eat and enjoy company. This swimming pool has two pools and a fun park — perfect for day filled with fun.

5. Norwood Swimming Pool

Take a trip to scenic Norwood and enjoy the fresh, clean water. With splash pads and outdoorsy parks surrounding the area, this is the perfect place to enjoy a view while taking a dip.

6. Trussville Swimming Pool

Not only is this pool surrounded by Trussville’s beautiful scenery, it also offers well-trained staff and lifeguards.

7. Cooper Green Swimming Pool

This parent- and-kid-friendly pool is clean and has a great environment for some fun in the sun.
