NEW: La Auténtica now open on Crestwood Boulevard [PHOTOS]

Great news—a new, authentic Mexican grocery store is now open along Crestwood Boulevard. We spoke with Stephanie Salgado, owner of La Authentica, to learn more.

La Auténtica: Inspired by family heritage and traditions

What started out as a small idea grew into a deep-rooted tradition within the family. The Mexican tradition of creating stores that brings people together was something that Stephanie wanted to continue.

We had the opportunity to speak with Stephanie about her family heritage and inspirations.

“My mom has a similar store back home that she started around a year ago. It’s been doing well, so we thought we should bring it to the U.S.”
