Help the 80-year Jimmie Hale Mission
Jimmie Hale was known around Birmingham as the town drunk. That was until he gave his life to Jesus Christ and followed the call God placed in his life: to help those who were walking where he had.
Jimmie founded the Mission in 1944 alongside his wife Jessie Davis. Together, they fed and ministered to men on the streets of Birmingham whose lives had taken a turn for the worse.
As one of the most well-known nonprofits in the Birmingham area, Jimmie Hale Mission provides shelter, recovery and care to men affected by homelessness for 80 years and counting.
But they can’t do it alone. It’s through events like the cornhole tournament—where the community comes together to support a great cause—that the mission of Jimmie Hale is upheld.
Become part of the Jimmie Hale Mission—volunteer + donate today, and I’ll see you at the cornhole tournament on Saturday, May 3.
