Founded by Martez Nalls, Bold as a Lion Studios is a premier, black-owned photography and videography company now headquartered in Bessemer.

Since the company’s founding, its team of talented creatives has captured many pivotal moments in Birmingham, including The World Games 2022 and the recent marriage of Mayor Randall Woodfin and Kendra Morris.

Today, the Bold as a Lion Studios team announced the opening of their new physical studio. Located at 1815 3rd Ave N in Bessemer, the new studio is near beloved Bessemer businesses like Bright Star and Memory Lane.
