Ready to work on your swing? Here’s how to “touch base” in Birmingham

What if instead of work from home, you could work from home plate? At Let’s Touch Base, you can do exactly that.

Birmingham Bound’s first-ever fundraising event brings together the startup community for an afternoon of friendly competition.

Ready to sign up? Here’s what you need to know about this single elimination tournament:

• The tournament will feature 16 teams.
• Each participant is required to sign a waiver prior to participation.
• Each team should have approximately 10 players.
• If you register as a single player, you will be placed on a team + introduced to your teammates before the event.
• As a team, you should coordinate matching shirts or a matching color.
• All decisions made by umpires are final.
• Registration closes Friday, March 8.

Enjoy a beer and seltzer open bar, a networking lounge and a “sideline hero” competition with activities like dizzy bat and a home run derby.
