Over the last few years, Vestavia Hills’ Liberty Park neighborhood has been expanding The Bray—a 700-acre mixed-use development featuring retail, dining and entertainment space.

In a recent press release, LIV Development announced that it will be introducing a high-end, 270-unit apartment complex to The Bray. Livano Liberty Park will break ground in early 2024 and is scheduled to be completed Winter 2025.

If LIV Development rings a bell, you might be familiar with some of their other local properties. The company is responsible for the Parkside apartment complex by Railroad Park as well as the redesign of the historic Bakers Row, which now houses the EDPA.

“Livano Liberty Park exemplifies LIV’s commitment to excellence in every facet of design and execution. We look forward to our Birmingham neighbors to experiencing the Livano lifestyle.”

So, what is the “Livano lifestyle”? Well, here’s a shortlist of some amenities that you can expect from the upcoming development:

  • Bistro kitchen with seating
  • Fitness center
  • Marketplace
  • Sky lounge
  • Trapeze coffee bar
  • Pet center with dog daycare + grooming
  • Resort-style pool
  • Workplace area

Designed to bring green space, retail, hospitality, restaurants and plenty of amenities to the community, The Bray is an exciting project for the Vestavia Hills area. In addition to the upcoming luxury apartments, the plan includes room for a luxury hotel and more multi-family and senior housing.

According to John Bonanno, Vice President of Daniel Communities’ Liberty Park Management Team, The Bray is comparable to communities like Lane Parke and English Village, where you don’t have to leave the area to find what you need.
