New development with Marriott Birmingham
According to the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ), Georgia-based RAM Hotels is bringing a new development to Grandview Parkway.
This project started in 2019 when RAM Hospitality Three LLC purchased the space for $2.7 million. Now the team is getting ready to break ground on the site, making way for the unique and stylish dual-branded hotel.
What is a dual-branded hotel? I’m glad you asked.
Dual-brand hotels house two separate hotels, allowing guests access to amenities that are not available in most single properties, while also cutting internal operation costs.
This new addition will feature two Marriott hotels with a total of 180 rooms. Here’s what to expect, according to the BBJ:
- One-half Courtyard by Marriott with 84 rooms
- One-half Residence Inn by Marriott with 96 kitchen suites
It’s the best of both worlds!
Project to be completed in 18-24 months
RAM Hotels will manage the property, and site work and construction are expected to take 18-24 months to complete.
