The Tramont—a brand-new luxury condo development by Manhattan-based D&A Companies and local developer FiveStone Group—is coming soon to Birmingham. Read on to learn more about the development.
Brand new luxury condos in Birmingham
Announced in 2021, The Tramont is an upcoming luxury condo development in Birmingham led by Manhattan-based D&A Companies in partnership with The FiveStone Group, a Birmingham-based commercial real estate firm.
According to the website, The Tramont will be designed with luxury in mind and will include 28 luxury condominiums divided into three categories: residences, maisonettes and the penthouse.
- Residences — Traditional flats with corner views and entertaining spaces with large balconies and loggias.
- Maisonettes — Two-story townhouses with ground-level walkout terraces and private connecting foyers available in 2-bedroom, 3-bedroom and 4-bedroom layouts.
- Penthouse — A 4-bedroom penthouse with panoramic views and a wrap-around terrace.
The development will be located at 1236 22nd St. S., right off of the Red Mountain Expressway’s Highland Avenue exit. The Tramont will be constructed next to 2222 Arlington, a redevelopment of Bayer Properties’ former headquarters—coincidently, that redevelopment is also led by D&A Companies.
Coming soon to Highland Park
On January 9, the Birmingham Business Journal reported that D&A Companies and the FiveStone Group have entered the pre-sale stage for the units, and aim to break ground on The Tramont in the third or fourth quarter of 2024.
