Red Mountain Park is one of Birmingham’s premier outdoor spaces, with 16 miles of multi-use trails exploring the park’s 1,500 forested acres. Located throughout the park are three treehouses, each with a unique view of the area below:

  • Haskell Hideaway
  • Riley’s Roost
  • Rushing Rendezvous

Although Red Mountain Park staff temporarily closed the Haskell Hideaway treehouse for repairs, the treehouse has recently reopened—perfect for visitors to the park.

“We’re excited to have Haskell Hideaway open again for our park members and visitors to enjoy.”

Lauren Spalding, Membership Director, Red Mountain Park

Want to visit Haskell Hideaway and other sightseeing opportunities in Red Mountain Park? The newly-refurbished treehouse is easily accessed from the park’s Venice Road entrance, from Trail 17 to Trail 8.
