Coining herself an “ACIPCO baby,” Candice shared about her 20 years at this 118-year-old company based in North Birmingham.

For 13 years now, Candice has been working as a Project Coordinator. In this role, she works closely with customers, orders the piping they need and makes sure everything is done in a timely fashion.

When asked why she loves it, Candice summed it up in one word—culture.

“I would call ACIPCO a culture of wellness and positivity. We care about each other. If you work here, you’re family too.”

Project Management, the division where Candice works, is a primary point of contact with all customers, and each position is critical to the delivery of both quality products and exceptional customer service.

Scott Summers, Director of Project Management, emphasized how essential a customer service mindset is to the roles he hires for:

“I want to bring people in who believe in our founding principle: treat others the way you want to be treated.

None of this would exist without our customers—if you don’t have that customer focus then you’re not going to succeed.”

Scott Summers, Director of Project Management, ACIPCO

A number of different positions fall under Project Management, including:

  • Project Assistant
  • Project Estimator/Detailer
