One of the first tenants at Lee Branch

The popular sports bar, which opened in the mid-2000s, was one of the first tenants at the Lee Branch development off Highway 280 in Hoover.

The following is the message on the restaurant’s voicemail about the closure and its next steps:

“Thank you for calling Baumhower’s Victory Grill at Lee Branch. We have chosen not to renew our lease at this location with plans to relocate in 2024. Please come visit us at our Vestavia location. Hoover we will see you soon. Please stay tuned.”

10 Baumhower’s across Alabama

Named after All-American Crimson Tide football player and owner Bob Baumhower, the wings spot has been serving up its famous wings for over 40 years.

There are presently 10 Baumhower’s restaurants across Alabama. Its newest location opened this fall in Troy.
