1. Worship Live (starring Fred Hammond with James Fortune, Anthony Brown, Todd Dulaney and Deitrick Haddon)

Ready for an incredible night of soul-stirring worship? You don’t want to miss Worship Live—an evening of gospel music and ministry led by Grammy award winning gospel singer and musician Fred Hammond. At Worship Live, Hammond will be joined by gospel superstars Deitrick Haddon, Anthony Brown, Todd Dulaney and James Fortune for an unforgettable night.

2. Birmingham Children’s Theatre presents Peter Pan

From Dec. 2-16, the cast and crew of Birmingham Children’s Theatre will put on a fresh performance of the classic tale of Peter Pan. This stunning production will feature the beloved classic characters—Wendy and the Lost Boys, Captain Hook, Tick-Tock the Crocodile and, of course, Peter Pan.

3. We the Kingdom with special guest Matt Maher

Hailing from Music City USA, We the Kingdom is a multi-generational family band known for their contemporary Christian hits, including “Holy Water”, “God So Loved” and “Jesus Does.” We the Kingdom will be joined at the BJCC by special guest Matt Maher, a Canadian contemporary Christian music artist and songwriter known for songs like “Lord, I Need You”, “Your Grace Is Enough” and “Because He Lives (Amen).”

4. Alabama Symphony Orchestra presents Home for the Holidays with the ASO Chorus

If I had to pick my favorite part of the holiday season, it’d have to be the classic holiday tunes. There’s something about hearing Jingle Bell Rock, It’s Begining to Look a Lot Like Christmas, The Christmas Song and more that just make you want to warm up next to the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate.

On December 9, you can sing along to timeless holiday classics performed by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, the ASO Chorus, Chris Confessore and local performers Kristi Tingle Higginbotham and Dolores Hydock.

5. Steel City Men’s Chorus presents Heart to Heart & Hand in Hand

On Saturday, December 9, the Steel City Men’s Chorus—a local men’s chorus formed in 2013 to create community, educate and give voice to LGBTQ issues through music and service—will perform their 11th Season’s holiday show: Heart to Heart and Hand in Hand. This holiday performance is sure to bring cheer and joy to all who attend.

6. Alabama Ballet presents George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®

One of the most beautiful, intricate and popular ballet performances of all time, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® is an unforgettable holiday experience. 7. Pentatonix

Pentatonix—the popular a capella group known for their pop songs with incredible vocal arrangements—will be performing at the BJCC during their The Most Wonderful Tour Of The Year! The group will be performing songs from their latest album, The Greatest Christmas Hits, which features 23 of Pentatonix’s top holiday songs and eight new tracks—including one holiday original!

8. Trans-Siberian Orchestra

When it comes to holiday performances, there’s nothing quite like a Trans-Siberian Orchestra show. Their arena-rock renditions of beloved holiday songs feature intricate light shows, lasers synced to the music, a string section and much more. The performance will include songs from The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, an album featuring songs like, “O Come All Ye Faithful / O Holy Night”, “Good King Joy” and “This Christmas Day.”
