5 places to watch Halloween movies in Birmingham

From horror movies to cult classics, Birmingham is bringing you all the spooks this season by screening tons of Halloween staples this October.
1. Sidewalk Cinema
The legendary Sidewalk Cinemas is showing a variety of Halloween cult classics. Films like Casper (1995) The House of the Devil (2009) Poltergeist(1982) The Others (2001) House AKA Hausu (1977) and Suspiria (1977). These screenings are sure to interest any film enthusiast.

2. Avondale Brewing Company
Avondale is showing not one but TWO double features this month. Both showings are family-friendly, so feel free to bring the whole gang.

3. TrimTab Brewing
TrimTab has an array of Halloween movies they are showing through out the entire month all the way through Halloween. Some of these classics include:

4. Grand River Drive-in
This weekend, Grand River Drive-In is celebrating with a few spook-tacular movies. If you come to these screenings in costume you get free round of golf for their mini golf course, The Backyard.

5. Alabama Theatre
Here in Birmingham, we love sticking with tradition. And we’ve got one you can’t miss. The 1927 classic Phantom of the Opera has played at the Alabama Theatre every year since the 1970s. Want to know more about the tradition? Learn more about this beloved tradition from Pat Seitz.
