Sister Shirts, a new retail shop, is gearing up for its official grand opening in Trussville’s Entertainment District on Thursday, October 26. Read on to find out what’s on sale and more.

What to expect at Sister Shirts in Trussville

You may have heard of Sister Shirts before—the brand formerly offered a selection of women’s and kid’s clothes and accessories online and in their former location on Watterson Parkway.

“Looking back, I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart. It started when I was younger selling Kool-Aid slushies to neighborhood kids. I actually worked for the original owners of Sister Shirts. It was a children’s shirt shop at that time, printing with an inkjet printer on paper transfers. My sister and I took over the business almost nine years ago. She is no longer with the business, and it’s just developed into something I love.”

Now, the shop has moved into a brand-new and beautiful space in Trussville’s Entertainment District, across from Mr. West’s Asian Kitchen.

Why keep the business in Trussville?

“Trussville has been our home for almost ten years. We love the community, and it’s where we’re raising our kids. Most of my life happens in about a three-mile radius in Trussville, and I couldn’t love it more.”
