Trussville folks, we’ve got great news for you. The family-owned Capella Pizzeria is opening its second metro Birmingham in Homestead Village. Keep reading for the details.

Capella Pizzeria opens second location in Greater Birmingham Area

According to the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ), Capella’s is taking over the former Ironstone Pizza in Trussville’s Homestead Village—2000 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL, 35235.

The new restaurant will occupy 3,000 square feet of space. Plenty of room for you and the whole family to enjoy delicious pizza.

There are no details on an opening date yet, but the banner on the restaurant front is enough to get us excited.

This family-owned Italian restaurant specializes in authentic custom wood-fired pizza from Italy. The pizzeria brings Italy to the Greater Birmingham Area with community-style tables, classic Italian music and European football games on TV.

Can’t wait for the Trussville Location? Capella’s first Alabama restaurant is located at Inverness Village Center on U.S. Highway 280, and they’re sure to keep you company while you wait for the new addition.
