Birmingham is buzzing with excitement this week. Keep reading to check out some of the newest and greatest places coming soon to The Magic City.

1. Pack Health Headquarters | Downtown

Pack Health recently celebrated the grand opening of their newly expanded headquarters in downtown Birmingham. The new facility expansion will add at least 200 new full-time employee positions according to their news release.

Spirit Halloween is the perfect store to get you ready for the spooky season. They have all the season’s essentials—Halloween costumes, Halloween decorations, Halloween accessories, Halloween makeup and more.

3. TravisMathew | The Summit

TravisMathew is opening their first Alabama location at The Summit. The California-inspired men’s and women’s apparel has everything from elevated everyday clothes and acessories to performance golf wear.

4. Williams Sonoma | The Summit

Williams Sonoma is coming back to The Summit, offering almost every kitchen item you could ever need. The fall re-opening will be perfect for baking and gifting needs.

5. SanPeggio’s Pizza | Hoover

SanPeggio’s pizza is opening a new location on Friday, September 22 in the Village at Lee Branch, according to a recent Instagram post. The New York-style pizza restaurant chain opened in Chelsea in 2000 and has been locally owned and operated ever since. Popular menu items include pizza, pastas, calzones, salads, subs, wings and desserts—they’re even made with locally-sourced ingredients!

6. MedsPLUS Consulting | Downtown

A new Black-and women-owned pharmacy in the South Federal building is expanding quality healthcare in Birmingham. MedsPLUS Consulting was created with the goal to educate communities on health and well-being, chronic diseases and to provide support and preventative care. The pharmacy and wellness center’s presence has already been beneficial to Birmingham’s growing senior population.

7. Volume Restaurant & Bar | Green Springs

A new restaurant and bar is coming soon to Green Springs Highway. Volume Restaurant & Bar will offer a variety of mouthwatering Creole seafood dishes, starters, salads and sides plus a special brunch menu on weekends. When it comes to drinks, you can expect a wide variety of wine, beer and classic cocktails.

8. Blue Pacific | Hoover Food Mart

You might remember us telling you about Blue Pacific at Hoover Food Mart temporarily closing back in August due to a family emergency. Well, the wait is over. Blue Pacific is officially back open and has resumed normal business hours. The family Thai restaurant serves delicious eats such as coconut soup, basil fried rice and top-notch dumplings.

9. Mika’s Breakfast & Lunch | Food Truck

Keep your eyes out for a new food truck rolling around town. Mika’s Breakfast & Lunch will serve breakfast, brunch and lunch in and around the Birmingham area, according to the Birmingham Buisness Journal (BBJ).

10. Trussville Academy of Gymnastics | Trussville

TURNERBATSON posted photos on Instagram announcing the plans for a 37,000 SF gym complex in Trussville, located adjacent to the Civic Center. Stay tuned for more details to come on the development.
