New multi-space concept The Burrow coming soon to Pepper Place

The owners of MELT have begun working on a new concept: The Burrow—a casual, multi-use space equipped with two restaurants will soon be coming to Pepper Place. Mouth watering already? Read on to find out more about The Burrow.

A new spot in Pepper Place

Pepper Place is a popular spot to eat, shop and socialize in the Magic City. With restaurants like Bettola, The Lumbar and Hot & Hot Fish Club there already, The Burrow will be something different—yet complementary—to its neighbors.

The owners of The Burrow are excited to bring a fun, kid-friendly and pet-friendly venue to Birmingham’s Lakeview District. With live music, trivia, indoor + outdoor games, food and craft cocktails like the “bless your heart-ini,” The Burrow is sure to be a hit new location for your next date night, corporate event, wedding, or just to grab a bite to eat.

An opening date isn’t certain yet, but The Burrow will be located at 200 28th Street South.

Two Restaurants, one venue at The Burrow

Picky eater? Don’t worry! The Burrow will be complete with two restaurants: The Lucky Lobster and Sandy Jeans.

The Lucky Lobster will be a seafood concept at The Burrow. Some upcoming menu items include:

• Lobster Rolls
• Shrimp Po-Boys
• An oyster bar

Sandy Jeans will be a fried chicken and a fun take on Southern-style barbecue joint. They’ll be serving up all things Southern, like:

• Barbecue Brisket
• Smoked Turkey
• Boiled Peanuts
• Corn Ribs

More than just a place to eat

The Burrow will be a new, approachable addition to Pepper Place with great food, games, music and more—brought to you by the owners of MELT. The site at 200 28th Street South will be the home of events like:

• Oyster socials
• Pig roasts
• Weddings
• Corporate events
