4 Birmingham restaurants honored by Wine Spectator

Congratulations Birmingham, four restaurants have won a Wine Spectator Restaurant Award. Keep reading to find out what exact restaurants in town made the list.

The award

Since 1976, Wine Spectator has been issuing publications on wine culture. This year, Wine Spectator recognized restaurants from all 50 states and more than 70 countries, for their Restaurants Awards which celebrates restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

The winners were announced on Monday, June 26.

1. Galley & Garden

Galley & Garden was the only Birmingham restaurant to win Wine Spectators, Best of Award of Excellence which 1,411 other restaurants were awarded. The description is as follows:

These wine lists display excellent breadth across multiple winegrowing regions and/or significant vertical depth of top producers, along with superior presentation. Typically offering 350 or more selections, these restaurants are destinations for serious wine lovers, showing a deep commitment to wine, both in the cellar and through their service team.

2. Seasons 52
