A truckstop in Winston County
McConaughey was recognized by media in Winston County on Wednesday at a local fast food truckstop.
The Cullman Daily reported in a Facebook Post:
“Matthew McConaughey to film at the Frosty Mug in Walker County, according to the Community Journal. Employees at the restaurant have confirmed construction around the business is for the film featuring McConaughey.”
Hoover’s slice of Hollywood
Bham Now visited Oakmont Chapel Presbyterian Church in Hoover this morning, following up on a tip. The church has been converted to a movie set for The Rivals Of Amziah King. With casting signs, filming equipment, movie trailers and costumes, Hollywood is certainly present in Hoover.
The release date is being kept under wraps, but the movie began early stages of production in May.
