NEW OPENING: Gardendale welcomes newest Olive Garden location

Gardendale folks, this one’s for you. Late last year, we let you in on the details about Olive Garden coming to Gardendale in 2023. Well, the time is finally here. Olive Garden is coming to town!

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held Friday, June 30 to welcome Alabama’s newest Olive Garden location. Keep reading for more information about the ceremony, location and more.

Ribbon cutting ceremony

To welcome Olive Garden to the community, the Gardendale Chamber of Commerce is having a ribbon cutting ceremony open to the public. We’ve heard that everyone is excited about the new addition, so we reached out to the executive director of the Chamber of Commerce to hear her thoughts.

“We are all very excited. For some reason, Olive Garden is one of those things that people have been asking about for decades. I’m also excited to eat some salad and breadsticks.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held tomorrow, June 30 at 10AM. Lebishack told us to expect speeches from the Chamber, the Mayor of Gardendale, an Olive Garden representative and a prayer. Immediately following the ribbon cutting will be various appetizers for those in attendance.
