1. Con Huevos | Trussville
According to the Trussville Tribune, Con Huevos—a traditional Mexican Restaurant—will be making its way to Downtown Trussville. Owner Daniela Trucios announced their opening on Cinco de Mayo and is excited to see the eatery open very soon.

2. George’s | Highland Park
Birmingham City Council recently voted to amend the Birmingham zoning district map in favor of George’s in Highland Park. This establishment will be a full-service restaurant offering steaks, martinis and more. George’s is the latest project from local developer and professional photographer Miller Mobley.

3. The Well Salon | Downtown Birmingham
Historic Morris Avenue just got better with the recent opening of The Well Salon. This salon is providing all types of cut and color services downtown. According to their Instagram, owner and lead stylist, Josh Bodi, has 20 years of experience in the industry and can’t wait to bring his skills to this spot.

4. Shoe Station | Brook Highland
According to their Facebook, Shoe Station a one-stop family footwear shop rooted in Southern style. They are hosting the grand opening of their 26th store in Birmingham from May 19-21.

5. Sweet Home Distillery | Leeds
Established in 2021, Sweet Home Spirits makes high-quality spirits right here in Alabama and now has its very own distillery in Leeds complete with a tasting room. You can visit their grand opening the weekend of May 11-14.
