A video of seven members from the Hewitt-Trussville High School choir singing the national anthem at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington D.C. has gone viral.

As of Thursday morning the video has recorded 47,000+ views. Watch it on Facebook – HERE.

The Hewitt-Trussville High School band and choir were in the nation’s capital last week to perform in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.

WVTM – 13 caught up with the students soon after they returned. The local station was then treated with another impromptu rendition of the anthem.

Watch:

“I had a blast,” Hewitt-Trussville choir member Reagan White told WVTM-13. “I love singing. I love being a part of the choir. It was really incredible to sing the National Anthem.”
