- What: Jam out this April to the mix repertory performance, Ovation, from Alabama Ballet. This show features works like ‘Sergeant Early’s Dream’—a piece which tells the story of migration from the Old World to the New World accompanied by American, English + Irish folk music.

3. Birmingham Botanical Gardens Plant Sale

4. Urinetown: The Musical

5. RMHCA Red Shoe Run: Rockin’ 5K
- What: Red Shoe Run: Rockin’ 5K directly benefits and impacts the guest families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama. By participating in the event, you’re helping keep a family close to their sick or injured child free of charge.

7. Funky Fish Fry
- What: Attend this family-friendly event for great good, drinks, live music and more while raising awareness for Autism Awareness and Acceptance month. The event benefits Mitchell’s Place and Autism Support of Alabama.

8. CahabaQue BBQ Cook-Off
- What: Come out to Cahaba Brewing Company for barbecue, beer and bragging rights at the Spring CahabaQue BBQ Cook-Off. Get a taste of Birmingham’s best backyard barbecue, while enjoying craft beer and live music. Kids and pets welcome! Event proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
