This year, the Kids’ Zone is expanding, including inflatables and a “touch-a-truck” event featuring vehicles by Alabama Power, Hoar Construction, and Sherman Industries.
For a good cause
This event is much more than a friendly chili competition. The Exceptional Foundation’s mission is to serve individuals with intellectual disabilities from the Greater Birmingham area.
This year, the Exceptional Foundation has partnered with Alabama Power’s Renew Our Rivers Program, one of the nation’s largest river cleanups.
All proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off benefit the programs of the Exceptional Foundation, which offers year-round services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Learn more about the mission and how to get involved.
