About Blackbird

If you’re a fan of the boutique shop Dear Prudence at The Summit and in Hoover, then you’ll love this bit of news. Blackbird is owned by the same people—Prudence and Brad Kauffman. This is Blackbird’s first Alabama store and will be in Hoover’s Patton Creek Shopping Center next door to Dear Prudence. 

While Dear Prudence focuses on women’s clothing, Blackbird is a gift boutique featuring curated gifts for all generations. Items include:

Can’t wait to see what Blackbird has to offer? You won’t have to wait long. The store is hosting a soft opening on Saturday, February 18.

You’ll also want to attend the grand opening on Thursday, March 2. From 5-7PM, Blackbird is hosting a Ladies Night event with giveaways, fun guests and special discounts.
