1. Valentine’s Interactive Murder Mystery Dinner
What: Grab your friends, families or SO and join the Valentine’s Themed Murder Mystery Dinner. Explore the beautiful Historic Arlington House and its collection of historic antiques and artifacts. After the mystery is solved, you can participate in the optional “Ghost & Spirits of the Past Hunt.”

2. Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend
- What: It’s time to lace up those running shoes for the Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend‘s very last race in Birmingham, February 10-12. Benefiting The event benefits The Bell Center, which provides essential support to local children + families. Get out and cheer on the racers all weekend long.
- When: Friday, February 10-Sunday, February 12

3. Kami-Con
- What: Alabama’s largest anime and gaming comic-con is coming to the BJCC, and you don’t want to miss it. You can expect appearances from J. Michael Tatum, Roger Bumpass, The Living Tombstone + more.
- When: Friday, February 10, Noon-Midnight | Saturday, February 11, 10AM-1AM | Sunday, February 12, 10AM-6PM

4. Escape to Margaritaville
- What: It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, so get ready to hear all your favorite Jimmy Buffet songs and live out all your Margaritaville dreams.
- When: February 10-26 | Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30PM | Sundays, 2:30PM
- Where: Virginia Samford Theatre

5. College Hills Neighborhood Cleanup – District 8
- What: Black Warrior Riverkeeper is teaming up with District 8 to help clean up the community and the Black Warrior River watershed. Gloves, safety vests, litter pickers and trash bags will be provided.
- When: Saturday, Feb. 11 | Registration at 9:30AM | Cleanup 10AM-Noon.

6. Big Machines Day
- What: A day full of science, learning and fun. McWane Science Center is bringing back its annual Big Machines Day and if your kids love all things construction, you don’t want to miss it.
- When: Saturday, February 11 | 10AM-4PM
- Where: McWane Science Center
- Cost: Included in general admission to McWane

7. Mardi Gras on the Mountain
- What: Support Easterseals of the Birmingham Area during this annual Mardi Gras-inspired fundraiser filled live 9-piece band, silent + live auctions, cocktails + more.

8. “The Big Game” Watch Party
What: We can’t make this weekend’s guide without including a Super Bowl watch party. Head over to Cahaba Brewing this weekend for $5 pints of the Local Series craft beer and $2 off wing orders at The Current at Cahaba. The game will be streaming on all 12+ TVs well before kickoff, so you don’t miss a single commercial.
