It has been an exciting week for Birmingham when it comes to new openings and coming soon businesses. From reopenings to new locations, there is a lot to look forward to. Keep reading to find your new favorite spot in The Magic City.

1. EVEREVE | The Summit

Women’s fashion brand, EVEREVE, just opened its first Alabama location. Located in The Summit, they sell trendy clothes with well-known brands, such as Z-Supply, and their own fashion pieces. Time to shop ’til you drop.

2. Bottega | Highland Park

Fans and food lovers alike were devastated when the dining room of Bottega closed back in 2020 due to COVID-19. The restaurant also underwent aesthetic updates, including new flooring, an updated banister and more seating. If you ask me, I have already made reservations to eat there in 2023.

3. Slice Pizza | Crestline Park

Pizza lovers know of Slice Pizza from their current locations in Lakeview, Montevallo and Vestavia. This pizza spot recently announced a new location in Crestline Park. We love their margarita pizza and s’mores calzones.

4. MELT | Lane Parke

MELT, the delicious, gourmet and cheesy sandwich restaurant, is getting close to opening its new Lane Parke location. Although, this new opening will result in the closing of their Avondale location. No worries though, the menu and vibes will still be the same (if not better)!

5. Taziki’s | Bessemer

Who knew that Taziki’s was founded here in Birmingham? The successful Mediterranean chain is adding a storefront in Bessemer located near Target and Bessemer Premiere 14.

6. Corner Soak & Spa | Cullman

This past weekend, Corner Soak & Spa hosted the grand opening of their new permanent location Cullman. At the spa, you will be greeted by friendly, professionally trained staff and choose between different facial and massage packages. Still doing some last-minute Christmas shopping? Their gift cards make a great present (and I would gladly receive one)!

7. Alabama Goods | Hoover

Alabama Goods is expanding to Hoover, which is where co-owner Beth Staula grew up. The store supports a magnitude of products that were all made in Alabama. You can expect to see many of the same best-sellers from their Homewood location, as well as new Hoover-centered memorabilia.

8. Starbucks | Moody

Last week, the Moody Area Chamber of Commerce broke ground on the new Starbucks location. This location is only a couple minutes off of exit 144B on I-20, making it a great pit stop for travelers.
