For the first time in 8 years, the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) will compete in the global tournament, taking on Wales this Monday, November 21st at 1:00PM.

In the Magic City, the largest  watch party in town for the U.S. games has been organized by the USMNT’s Supporters Group, the American Outlaws

The group has teamed up with the Birmingham Legion FC to watch all three U.S. first round matches at Good People Brewing Company across from Regions Field.

“We’ve put a lot of work into planning this party over the last eight years, especially after taking it for granted. There’s nothing like a World Cup, and there’s nothing that compares to seeing your country score and win in a World Cup. The celebration memories last a lifetime and strangers huddled next to you become friends by the end of a match. We’re honestly overjoyed to be able to share this with the City of Birmingham again this year, and we hope every last one of you shows up and packs out Good People Brewing Company Monday, Friday, and next Tuesday (and hopefully a couple other days beyond).

Of course there are 64 FIFA World Cup games that will be played over the next 29 days.

We’ve compiled a list of local Birmingham restaurants and bars showing the U.S. games and more.

Crestwood Tavern

Hot Tip: Crestwood Tavern told us they are showing every game except the ones on Thanksgiving Day. Great news if you are rooting for under the radar underdogs Serbia, Senagal or Croatia.

Hot Tip: For soccer fans in the Magic City, Rojo’s side bar has always been a favorite. The Southside favorite will be showing games beginning at 10:00AM daily. Unfortunately, they won’t be open on Mondays – so the U.S. v. Wales game is out.
