Last year, Chanah Willis, founder and baker of Last Call Baking, announced they’d be opening a brick and mortar. The growing bakery has been producing baked goods that can be only described as art. The bakery, which makes delicious treats like almond croissants and cinnamon rolls, sold its creations at local eateries like The General, Domestique and Daily Edition.

It’s no secret that the Bham Now team loves Last Call Baking, from their flaky croissants to their delicious Japanese-inspired pastries. If you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out!

Chanah started the company back in 2020 in their apartment kitchen. Since then, they have seen huge success and growth. The bakery takes inspiration from Japanese and French culture to produce unique desserts. Fan favorites include sesame chocolate croissants, blueberry cream danish and Japanese milk bread.

A word from Chanah

“A lot of folks have asked if I will be making cakes again and the answer is ‘YES!’  There will be three to five different cakes available by the slice each day, and an assortment of rotating seasonal pastries! After the team gets comfortable in the first month, I plan on rolling out a bread program, savory lunch options, as well as a different late night community events.

There’s a rich connection that’s formed when you physically provide someone something you’ve made, and having the opportunity to create these relationships face to face makes me giddy.”
