Interest in “beercations”—traveling with a goal of trying the best local breweries—has become so popular that analysts at HomeToGo—a vacation rental platform—determined America’s best “beer towns” based on the number of breweries and top-rated bars. They also looked at the average prices of beer and the cost of nightly accommodations for travelers.

As a city full of tasty brews and exciting breweries, it comes as no surprise that Birmingham made this list.
