Mountain High Outfitters and Taco Mac are opening in Pelham in 2023

Exciting mixed-use space coming to Pelham

The Canopy at Oak Mountain—a $60 million mixed-use development—will bring many apartments, stores and restaurants to Pelham. With the views of Oak Mountain State Park, visitors can be excited to explore this beautiful area of town.

According to Shelby County Reporter, the outdoor clothing and equipment store Mountain High Outfitters and the Georgia-based restaurant Taco Mac are filling retail spots at the Canopy. These two businesses will be opening in the spring or summer of 2023.

“The Canopy is perfectly positioned as an entrance leading to Oak Mountain State Park and sharing space with our Civic Complex and Ice Arena and Oak Mountain Amphitheater, to complement our brand by offering a distinctive combination of activity, entertainment, shopping and residential.

It will be a very special place where friends and family members can come together to dine on excellent food, enjoy a concert, watch a hockey game, attend a concert, take a stroll, go for a bike ride or simply engage in conversation and laughter over a cocktail or coffee. We cannot wait to thrive alongside our new neighbors in the Canopy development.”
