The city of Gardendale’s Bill Noble Park is currently being re-invented and city officials are excited about what the park will bring to its’ community. The project is set to cost $27 million.

“[The park] was built in the early 60s and even though it was very well maintained by Parks and Recreation. The Mayor and the City Council felt there needed to be a re-invented park for the future of our kids.”

Dale Hyche, Director of Parks and Recreation, City of Gardendale

Once the renovations are complete, the city’s kids will be able to play on industry-standard athletics fields allowing their athletic associations to grow—even their newly added pickleball team.

A community affair

The park will also have areas for families to enjoy picnics, a friendly game of foursquare and shuffleboard. They will also have a multi-story handicap-accessible playground.
