On Thursday, June 2nd join the city of Gardendale’s Mayor Stan Hogeland, City Council members and other community leaders at the groundbreaking of the city’s re-invented Bill Noble Park. Keep reading for details!
Out with the old and in with the new
The city of Gardendale’s Bill Noble Park is currently being re-invented and city officials are excited about what the park will bring to its’ community. The project is set to cost $27 million.
“[The park] was built in the early 60s and even though it was very well maintained by Parks and Recreation. The Mayor and the City Council felt there needed to be a re-invented park for the future of our kids.”

Once the renovations are complete, the city’s kids will be able to play on industry-standard athletics fields allowing their athletic associations to grow—even their newly added pickleball team.
A community affair
The park will also have areas for families to enjoy picnics, a friendly game of foursquare and shuffleboard. They will also have a multi-story handicap-accessible playground.
The city has invited the community to join them at their groundbreaking ceremony—event details are below.

The community will be introduced to the park’s new management team and be able to meet the new pickleball team and all their sports association presidents.
