Did you know that Birmingham has a world-class super-speedway less than 20 minutes away from downtown? Barber Motorsports Park is an 880 acre, multi-purpose racing facility and one of the most beautiful racecourses you’ll ever see. In fact, racing enthusiasts refer to it as the Augusta National of Motorsports.
Since 2010, Barber Motorsports Park has been the home to the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. At the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, you’ll see the same IndyCar Series cars and drivers as the Indy 500 competing on Barber Motorsports Park’s 2.38 mile road course.

Is your little one fascinated by the cars and how they work? The Kamtek Garage is the one-stop-shop for your aspiring engineer. Inside this working garage, you can meet and take photos with the drivers and their crews.
Make sure to line up by the bike fence on Sunday to give the drivers a crisp high five as they walk to the race!
