Many of us were heartbroken when Sam’s Super Samwiches founder Sammy Graphos passed away. Shortly thereafter, the beloved restaurant lost its longtime lease—and the future of Sam’s Super Samwiches seemed grim. Thankfully, brighter days are ahead—the team recently reopened Sam’s in a new location, honoring the late Sammy Graphos.

Many waited for the opening day to arrive and at last, we finally have it. They have just announced May 2 as the re-opening of Sam’s Super Samwiches.

“We apologize for all the delays, but we are thrilled to announce our new official opening date on May 2nd! It has been very hard to get parts shipped recently, and due to this and some unforeseen setbacks, we have had to push our opening date back a month…no one wants a superdog all the way more than us. And no matter what, we will see y’all on May 2nd!!!”
