Birmingham hosting NCAA DII Women’s Basketball National Championship – March 23 & 25

Why wait for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Sweet 16 when you can see a Final Four matchup and the crowning of a national champion this week in Birmingham?
Tonight, the Magic City is hosting the NCAA DII Women’s Basketball National Tournament Final Four and Championship game at the Birmingham CrossPlex’s Bill Harris Arena. On Friday, March 25th a champion will be crowned.

Hosting the tournament for the first time in Birmingham, the semifinals games will begin on Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:00 p.m.
- Grand Valley State (31-2) vs. Glenville State (33-1)| 6:00 p.m.
- North Georgia (29-3) vs. Western Washington (24-5) | 8:30 p.m.
The winners will advance to the championship game on Friday night at 7:00 p.m.
The semifinals and championship game will be broadcast by and stream on the CBS Sports Network.
