Start your Starkville art tour on campus with the Mississippi State University (MSU) Department of Art Gallery, Colvard Student Union Gallery and Depot Gallery. They feature rotating exhibits by faculty, student artists and visiting artists as well as both regional and national exhibitions.

Next, head to the Giles Hall Exhibit and Visual Arts Center Gallery to see art work in a variety of mediums from students and faculty. Currently you’ll find the “Housing Insecurity in Mississippi” exhibit. This collection demonstrates history of housing insecurity in Mississippi.

Support a great cause and see art of expression when you visit the Martha Lipsey Gallery. It showcases the works of Mississippians with severe disabilities and many of the pieces are available for sale, with proceeds going to support the EXPRESS Yourself Program.

To see artwork by the locals, you won’t want to miss the GSDP Art Gallery, which includes rotating exhibits by artists in Starkville and surrounding communities.
