NEW OPENING: Taco Mama coming soon to Gardendale—find out more

Let’s taco ’bout this super exciting news. According to a Facebook post from Gardendale Mayor Stan Hogeland, a new Taco Mama location is coming soon to Gardendale. Let’s spill the beans on what we know.

Lettuce get excited 🌮

It’s no secret that Taco Mama is a fan-favorite across Alabama. Their authentic ingredients, fun atmosphere and of course, margaritas, keep people coming back for more. Now, Gardendale has a location of its own to look forward to.

In a brief statement on Facebook, Mayor Hogeland announced that the buildout will start soon and the new location will hopefully be open later this summer. Right on time for my personal fave—the seasonal Watermelon margarita.

It’s taco time 😋

Taco Mama has plenty of tasty options on their menu and so many ways to customize your own creation including:

• The Fat Boy burrito: Grilled steak tenderloin, cilantro-lime rice, grilled onions, refried beans, cilantro, red-chile butter sauce
• Cheezy Beef taco basket: Barbacoa (braised beef), tomatoes, onions, cilantro, queso, lettuce, queso fresco, mild salsa ranchera
• Guacamole, queso and salsa
• 10+ flavorful margaritas

and much more.

In queso you can’t wait until this summer to get in on the goodness, there’s plenty of locations nearby.

Where can I find it?

“They will be locating [sic] on Fieldstown Road, on the east end of the Brookwood Medical Building, opposite Tazikis. I’m thankful for the Fields family for working with us to make this happen. These developments take time and a lot of hard work, but in the end it’s all worth it.”
