LAH Real Estate’s Second Annual Toys for Tots Drive

In 2020, the LAH Real Estate team kicked off their first annual Christmas toy drive, collecting new unwrapped toys for The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Thanks to the hard work & generosity of the LAH Real Estate team and the local community, LAH was able to donate a considerable amount of toys to The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. In fact, their efforts helped the Foundation brighten up the holidays for 9,700 children in the region.

This year, LAH Real Estate wanted to collect even more toys for the foundation. Throughout November and December, members of all LAH Real Estate offices (Mountain Brook, Crestline, Homewood and Hoover) encouraged their friends, family and community to drop off new & unopened toys—and this was the best year yet!

Here’s what a few members of the LAH Real Estate team had to say:

“As a local real estate company, our primary mission focuses on actively supporting our communities through outreach efforts like Toys for Tots. It’s not what we say, it’s what we do. Participating in the Toys for Tots toy drive is an honor, a privilege and a blessing that embodies the heart of LAH Real Estate.”

Debbie White, Realtor, LAH Real Estate

“Having the ability to provide for those in need is a blessing, honor, and care we need so much more of in this world. Being able to gift children in our local communities will hopefully brighten their holiday season and show them a kindness they can carry on to others.”

Sarah Walker, Realtor, LAH Real Estate

“The United States Marines started the Toys For Tots toy drive in 1947. Today the program distributes an average of 18 million toys to 7 million less fortunate children annually – How great is that?!? The LAH family is excited and proud to play a part in such an awesome cause each year. What could be better than making children happy for Christmas!”

Maurice Humphries, President, LAH Real Estate

After the toy drive ended on December 10th, the LAH Real Estate team gathered all donated toys to bring to The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. From there, the Foundation will distribute the toys to their new homes!
