NEW: Whataburger’s coming to Hoover in Spring 2022

Anyone else hungry for a burger? Good news for Hoover residents—a new Whataburger is coming to the former Pier 1 location across from the Riverchase Galleria in Spring 2022. Keep reading for the delish deets.

Hoover Whataburger’s new prototype restaurant 🍔

According to the Birmingham Business Journal, Whataburger leased the former Pier 1 location across from the Galleria and will be opening its new restaurant in Spring 2022. This isn’t your typical Whataburger, though. This location is set to be a prototype of their refreshed design. The coolest part—the Hoover Whataburger will be the first in the country to feature the new design. A win for Hoover (and hamburger lovers everywhere).

Along with a menu of burgers, fries and shakes (one chocolate shake for me, please), this new Whataburger will bring more jobs to Hoover.

Where can you Whataburger? 🍟

Whataburger currently has 22 locations in Alabama, with six across Birmingham, including the newest openings being in Homewood and Leeds. Hoover’s restaurant will be located at 1727 Montgomery Hwy, Hoover, AL 35244.
