It’s the 16th consecutive year that the Magic of Model Trains has sparked wonder and curiosity in all ages at McWane—and this year is guaranteed to be just as amazing.

Why should you check it out? I’m glad you asked. Here are the top reasons this extraordinary exhibit will entertain you and the family:

  • It’s created by The Wrecking Crew Model Railroad Club. Founded in 1989 by six model train enthusiasts, the club has continued to gain attention and even won several top awards at the 2018 Southeastern Regional National Model Railroad Association Conference.
  • The exhibit features over a dozen different displays with model trains of every shape and size.
  • Each train track is designed to scale with meticulous detail. You’ll discover a miniature, true-to-life city with everything from covered bridges and downtown storefronts to a drive-in theatre and people waiting for a train.
  • All trains included in the exhibit really work! In fact, prepare to don that conductor’s hat because you can actually become an engineer and operate some of the trains.

If you’re seeking awe-inspiring entertainment for the whole family, the Magic of Model Trains is just the ticket. Take the fast track to McWane now!
