Downtown Homewood has some new openings and “coming soons” you don’t want to miss. We’ve got the inside scoop about what’s on the horizon for downtown Homewood, including Rodney Scott’s, Little Donkey and more.

1. In case you missed it—Manduu is in Homewood

Looking for a new way to get your sweat on? Check out Manduu, located just above Swaddle. This innovative workout uses an electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) training program for maximum results.

According to Manduu, one 15-minute, trainer-guided session produces results that take six to eight hours to achieve in a regular gym. Talk about efficiency!

2. Open now: Edgar’s in Homewood

Known for their delicious sweets, treats and so much more, Edgar’s is a welcome addition to downtown Homewood.

Their new location provides ample seating and even offers a wide selection of pre-made goodies. Time to take your next coffee run, lunch break or batch of class cookies to the next level.

3. Coming soon: Circa lighting

Homewood will soon have a new lighting boutique in Ambiance’s former home.

Founded in Savannah in 1998, Circa’s showrooms feature everything from floor lamps to upscale chandeliers and more. Can’t wait for the Homewood location to open? Check out their online ordering.

4. Coming soon: Little Donkey will have a new home

Little Donkey is one of my very favorite spots in Homewood, so you can imagine my shock when I heard they were closing their Central Ave location.

Don’t fret—they’re not closing, just moving. Their new location will open in Mid-November and crews are hard at work getting it ready for us. Need queso now? Get your fix at their 280 location in the meantime.

5. Coming soon: Rodney Scott’s is coming to Homewood

Soon, Homewood will have another BBQ spot to enjoy. No official opening date quite yet, but they told us they’re shooting for mid/late December and we’re excited to see the building going up so quickly!

Known for their signature pit-cooked meats and homestyle sides, Rodney Scott’s is sure to be a hit. Want to give them a try now? Check out their 3rd Ave South location.
